Terms & refunds

These terms cover boxtalktrucking.com, the load calculator, free accounts, Box Talk Pro and Ask Box Talk consultations. By using the site you agree to them.

The tools give estimates

The calculator, route miles, miles by state and fuel prices are planning estimates based on the numbers you enter and on third-party data (routing services and weekly U.S. Energy Information Administration averages). They can be wrong. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. You are responsible for your own decisions, loads, contracts and tax filings, including IFTA.

Accounts

• One account is for one person. Don't share accounts or sign-in links. An account can be signed in on up to 2 devices at a time.
• Keep your email secure. Anyone with access to it can sign in to your account.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, for example automated scraping or reselling access.

Box Talk Pro

• Pro is a subscription billed monthly ($13.99) or yearly ($109), in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, which acts as merchant of record. Their terms also apply to your purchase. Your card statement shows “LINK.COM* BOXTALK”.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in My account → “Manage or cancel subscription”, or at link.com. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you by email before a change affects your renewal.
• Route lookups have a fair-use limit of 50 per day per account.

Ask Box Talk consultations

• One payment covers one email with up to three related questions and one written answer, usually within 72 hours.
• Answers are general guidance based on industry experience, not legal, tax or financial advice.

Refunds

• Pro: if Pro isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. Renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel before the next renewal at any time.
• Ask Box Talk: full refund if we can't help with your question. Once an answer is sent, the consultation is not refundable.
• To ask for a refund, write to [email protected] from the email you used to pay.
